01 / PRINCIPLE

Your email should not be
scattered across providers.

This release brings mailboxes you already host into one workspace. It does not yet replace MXroute or create free provider mailboxes. The long-term goal is customer-controlled hosting across many domains without per-mailbox lock-in.

02 / HOW IT WORKS

Keep the systems that already work.

Your public site can stay on Vercel, your domain can stay at Namecheap, and your MX records can keep pointing to the provider that hosts the mailbox.

Connect the mailboxes you already pay for.

Choose a known service or enter secure IMAP and SMTP settings. Sovereign Mail verifies the exact mailbox, imports its Inbox, and leaves its original provider authoritative.

The From address chooses the route.

Mail from a connected address uses that mailbox's SMTP provider. If its connection is unavailable, sending stops instead of silently falling back through another system.

ADVANCED OPTION03

Direct Cloudflare delivery is optional.

Use Cloudflare only when you intentionally want it to replace an external mailbox provider. Connecting existing hosting never requires moving your website or DNS.
